The rocker switch with beacon symbol logo (blue) is the ideal switch to quickly and accurately switch on the beacon or flash bar, even in the dark.
The beacon symbol logo switch has blue backlighting, it is switched plus (+) via its own power pin.
The rest of our sbsr-400 series has green backlighting, but the blue one does not, because otherwise you cannot see the difference between the orange and blue switch.
The extra 4th pin on the switch ensures that if the vehicle is not on, the switch is also not illuminated when it is switched off.
This way the car's battery cannot run out.
However, you can connect the switch in such a way that it works when the vehicle is not on and the symbol will also light up when the function is switched on.
Very useful if you are outside the vehicle and want to have the flashing lights on but not the car on.
You could connect the backlight of the switch to the ignition or to the dashboard lighting and possibly dim it together with the dashboard lighting.
The beacon symbol lights up bright blue when switched on.
Our range includes several 20 Ampere switches with an illuminated symbol / logo and different LED colors.
Because the switches have a switching capacity of 20 Ampere, you can connect accessories up to 250 watts in total without having to use a relay.
For higher powers, a relay must be installed.
Also make sure that the peak voltage when switched on does not exceed 20 amperes.
